Our organization offers over 150 members a diverse choice of community projects for participation as well as social luncheons and an annual benefit that features a dinner dance, raffles, silent and live auctions.  The annual benefit is our largest fundraiser.  Contributions from local businesses are vital to our event’s success.  

Since the inception of the Northbrook Woman’s Club in 1955, the Club and later the Foundation have raised and donated more than $1.5 million in college scholarships and grants to local service organizations.  The club initiated a community valued scholarship fund in 1963, which today is a significant portion of our philanthropic contributions. The remaining contributions are awarded as grants to various organizations and projects in the metropolitan area.  

Our members perform over 1,000 hours of community service completing more than a dozen projects annually.  We support battered women’s shelters, feed hungry children, senior citizens, the homeless, and deliver meals to the homebound. We provide blankets to the sick and even to our four legged friends!

Meetings are commonly held during the day on the first Thursday of the month from September through May.  Community service activities occur on various days and nights.  For more information on upcoming events, please click on the Calendar section.
